Want To Make A Creative Difference? Absolute has the following vacancies:
The pros: You get to work for Absolute. We're a graphic and interior design consultancy, and we're pretty good at it. It helps that we love what we do, particularly the conceptual stuff, as well as helping our clients develop their brands (cureently ranked 10th in the UK for effective design). Great place to work, by the way, in Cornwall.
The cons: You get to work for Absolute. Not so much a con, more of a warning. We're all about the ideas, so you'll need to be, too. And when you have one, expect the team to have you defending, rethinking and refining it. The team thing's important, and the team rarely runs short of opinions (or ideas). But then if you saw that as a drawback, you probably wouldn't want the job anyway...
What we want:
Interior Architect - Interior Designer To give yourself a shot at this one, you'll need three to four years' studio experience, a working knowledge of the design industry, experience in the hospitality industry and - as well as the usual computer literacy - proficiency in Auto CAD. As far as what you're like goes, it would help a lot if you were outgoing, with a half-decent sense of humour, and you'll also need strong visualisation and communication skills.
CAD Technician Our interiors department need support on their heavy workload. We require a CAD Technician to help with CAD drawings, planning applications and detailing. Minimum of 3 years experience.
Admin Assistant - Interiors Our interiors department need an admin support assistant to look after the teams time schedules, filing, customer communications. Admin experience and an organised mind is required although it doesn't have to be in the design industry.
Have a look round the site, find out a bit about how we think and the way we work; if you can see yourself fitting in, then email a cv and a few examples of your work to: helen@absolutedesign.co.uk
